Jeopardy Test

A recreation of the Jeopardy online test that hopefuls must pass to qualify for the show. Utilizes jService API to get a random question from the past 9,000+ episodes of the show. After you answer 10 questions (or time runs out), you'll receive your results and find out if your score would have allowed you to be invited back for a live audition. This was my final (and favorite) project for my web development class in college. I tried to keep it as accurate to the real thing as possible by adding logic to accept partial names and misspellings, but it's not perfect.
(Note: you may have to use a private browser session to get the API to return data.)

A pure CSS "drawing" of Jiji from the Studio Ghibli movie Kiki's Delivery Service. This was my first attempt at CSS art. I started off with code from this CSS animation and then modified it to match my reference picture, shown on the left side of the page (no I wasn't quite ambitious enough to try to make that bowtie). This movie was one of my favorites growing up and it still holds a special place in my heart, so I thought it would be a fun way to experiment with CSS since I don't use it very often.
